Even if a person checks a gun one million times, it still doesn't guarantee
an accident couldn't still happen though. It could be due to mechanical failure (i.e. a faulty hammer that managed to pass through inspection and rigorous testing) or a freak accident (i.e. the paper wad used for the blank round propelled down the barrel and out the muzzle when it shouldn't have happened). A person can inspect and rigorously test every mechanical part of the gun one million times. However, there will still be that one time where something either breaks or doesn't work properly for no logical reason. Even after the person examines the situation and understands the entire sequence of events completely, it still may not make sense to anyone.
